It’s Christmas time. It’s this time of the year when families and friends gather together to share the joys of this special occasion. Some people meet at this time after so long. Some send greeting cards or messages to their loved ones from far away. Some get in contact just to wish each other happy holidays from year to year. Some go out of their way to make someone’s Christmas a special one. Some give their time to help the homeless and needy have a special time at Christmas, whether by volunteering, giving presents, or giving a Christmas meal. In the end, whatever people do, however they do it, it is all done with pure love. It is done because there are good hearts out there who genuinely care.
Let us look at what is around us. Let us be in awe of the Christmas miracles surrounding us. Things that could be happening to people we know or do not know. During the Christmas season: someone who was alone, got company, someone who was cold, got warm, someone who was hungry, got fed, someone who was sad, received joy, someone who was sick, got better, someone was born, someone got engaged or married, someone was reunited with loved ones, someone had their faith restored in God Almighty. Isn’t that what Christmas is all about after all.
It is not about the presents we get or the food we eat. It is about the love we share. It is about remembering how and why baby Jesus was born. Let us not forget. Let us not get consumed with our world. Let us keep the traditions going while remembering the true meaning of celebrating Christmas. Christ is born, and we all have a chance to be re-born and become God’s true children.
‘Tis the Christmas season. ‘Tis the Christmas spirit. Watch for the Christmas miracles we experience and be grateful for all that we have. Thank you God for blessing me with people that love me and thank you for watching out for all of us; your children. Thank you for not letting me spend Christmas alone this year. Thank you for all that you have given me.
Merry Christmas everyone!!
