If walls could talk
It would tell so many stories
It would confess so many secrets
It would reveal so many mysteries
If walls could really talk
It would tell the love stories witnessed
It would tell the broken hearts endured
It would tell of laughter heard
It would tell of cries wept
It would tell the truth hidden
It would tell the lies kept
It would tell of times of struggle
It would tell of times of happiness
It would tell the fire that destroyed
It would tell the water that revived
It would tell of babies born
It would tell of souls passing
If walls could ever talk
It would tell of memories never to be forgotten
It would tell of moments-lived never to be repeated
It would tell of struggles the unfortunate man encountered
It would tell of hardships the fortunate man lived
If walls were to briefly talk
It would tell of every emotion ever existed
It would tell of every lesson learned
It would tell of everything man has searched for.
If walls were only to talk.
