They walk around showing their muscles and they ignore your call or answer after long time making excuses. They come across as busy all the time and people want to be around them always. They huff and they puff. They yell and they scream. They abuse you verbally, emotionally and physically. And they call themselves MEN.
Trying not to sound bitter or angry here, I am presenting to you a picture from real life. All these descriptions are not necessarily in one person. But there are those out there who may possess one or two of those ‘lovely’ qualities. This is not limited to a specific age, race, or culture. It’s just Men out there, trying to make it in this world.
I know it’s tough. And I know relationships are not easy. So why are we complicating it even more. Why play games. Why hurt those we love. Why are we so caught up in this power struggle. What’s there to gain in the end? Can’t we all just get along.
What’s wrong with you Men, why you have to be like that?! You have been hurt before! You got some issues from your past that you haven’t worked through! You don’t trust any woman you meet because ‘All women are the same’. Well, women can say the same thing about you. But why is it that women tend to forgive and give you chance after chance, while you are stuck in your past experiences. When will you grow up? And age has nothing to do with it. It’s your willingness to change your thoughts and your attitudes, if you allow them.
I don’t want to judge anyone. I only have facts to go by. I see it all the time. And I’m so disappointed. I just wish Men would learn to appreciate a good woman when they come across one. I wish they would get off their high horse and realize there is nothing to win by acting so heartless and detached. That’s not what makes you a Man.
There are wonderful Men out there; caring, loving, and attentive. They don’t play games, they don’t make their women cry. They lift them up, stand by them and be their partner through thick and thin. These examples do exist and I am so relieved to know that it is possible for Men to be so kind. These Men are strong and they are a blessing to every woman that meets them.
Let’s have more of that. Let’s build stronger relationships. Let’s put the past behind us and start fresh. Let’s control our Ego. Let’s be together as one, share our journey side by side. No competition, no war, no games; no winner, and no loser.
