It’s that time of the year again when we experience mixed emotions.
Some of us are happy. Some not so much. Some want to enjoy every moment of the festivities. Some wish it would just end before it begins. Some are feeling grateful and joyful. Some are lonely and resentful.
To each their own. We all have a choice to make. And whichever path you choose then you will live the consequence of that choice.
Inspired by Yasmin Boland, a best selling author, an award winning astrologer, one of the best selling Oracle cards and podcaster of the Mainly Moonology Podcast, one of my favourite teachers in this time. Yasmin encourages us to take the time now around the New Moon phase to not only make some wishes, but also to take time to think about something or someone we are truly grateful for.
In addition, it’s time to release what no longer serves us. Release something that’s been weighing on you this year. Or release negative feelings or thoughts you have been carrying around. Or release a habit that hindered your growth. Or release someone you have been holding on to that has held you back from moving forward. Now is the perfect time to do that. It’s time to release.
And when we release, Yasmin also encourages us to replace what we release with something that will help start the new year on the right path. What could it be?
Take the time now before the end of the year to write down what you are grateful for, what you need to release and what you will replace it by.
