I thank God nearly all the time. I thank Him constantly for everything from the extra few seconds that the light stays green at the intersection to the heartache in loss of love. I ask him for help in getting over my own demons. The one’s that seem to turn me into a possessive, jealous, and selfish man with trust issues. I cry out to Him in seeking to understand how I can turn off these satanic whispers that my past loves have created, those that plague my conscious mind and toy with my dreams as I fight to fall asleep.
That is a good question & I am ashamed to say not often enough. I will admit I am one who has been asking “help me” more than “thank you”. Thank you.
