I write this piece in total inspiration. It all happened while I was in the shower, the hot water spraying on my back. I dived under the water with my head and it all came flooding through. I knew I had to put these thoughts down on paper as soon as I was done. Here I am sharing my inspired thoughts. Continue reading

Travel when you are young
Don’t wait till you get older to start travelling. Don’t wait for the perfect timing. Don’t wait till you are finally free, the kids have grown, you retire, you pay off the house, you have more money; whatever excuse you keep on giving yourself for postponing your travelling. Travel when you are young and healthy. Don’t wait till Continue reading
The Disease
We see it in the news, we read about it in newspapers or in social media feeds, we hear of it from people we know or don’t know; but we never think it could happen to us. We sympathize with those who get affected. We recognize that it is now more common than ever before. We know it’s possible that anyone can get diagnosed with any disease at any time in their life. But we still don’t grasp the idea Continue reading
Endless Goodbyes
Inspired by personal losses and heartbreaking stories, I got to thinking one day, how our goodbyes don’t seem to end. As a matter of fact, they start in our early years as we just begin our lives. And we experience goodbyes constantly. It’s just that we only recognize Continue reading
The least you expect
The experiences of your life are so amazing; if you only let them. It is the ones you least expect that nurture you and help you grow. If nothing else, you may get a chuckle out of it when you remember one day the things you did and the moments you lived. Continue reading
Conditioning
How do we comprehend the term conditioning? I am talking about behavioral conditioning. There were several theories and experiments done by some of the most famous philosophers and thinkers. Edward Thorndike and Pavlov to name the few. Their work and research has influenced our educational curriculum and disciplinary guidelines. Conditioning has become Continue reading
Divided Attention
We all have things in our lives that we focus on more than others. And naturally so. You could be after accomplishing a goal or after the person of your dreams or after obtaining the best the world has to offer. And while it’s totally fine that you pursue your dreams and go after your goals, don’t loose sight of what’s truly important in your life; what you do have. Don’t allow your attention to get so divided that you can’t seem to appreciate the little things, the present moment and the current people in your life, for the bigger things, the future and the people you wish to have in your life.
The wait is over
So you plan for something and it seems like there is lots of time until the moment you have waited for. There is anticipation, anxiety and some expectation. But nothing happens the way you imagine it. Events unfold in ways you never thought it could. You wait and you wait and sometimes you think there is still lots of time to do this and say that. Little did you know, time is passing while you are not paying attention. It’s actually faster than you thought. The moment comes and the moment goes. You only realize it after it had passed. And the wait is finally over. Continue reading
If you knew today was your last day
We have seen movies with those stories, we have heard songs with those lyrics, we have heard people repeating those words whether serious or joking. Truly, what a thought it is. If we were to be serious for a minute, think about it … what would you do if today was your last day ever. Continue reading
My life; My way
Do you want to know what it’s like living in a world where you are this person but to the rest of the world you are another. Have you ever felt that you are living a double life. Have you ever had to hide what you feel inside. Have you ever had to pretend to be someone you are not. Did you ever have to make decisions in your life where you would live in pain whichever way you choose. Welcome to my life. Continue reading
STOP … And Ask Yourself
We read all those beautiful motivational quotes and posts. We watch those inspirational clips and we read many encouraging and educational thoughts. But when it comes to applying it, we find out how hard it really is. It’s one thing to repeat those words, it’s another to live them. Continue reading
Life is so short
Once again I am confronted by the reality that ‘Life is so short’. Yes, it is. Life is short when it gets taken away without you being prepared. Then again, how can you ever be prepared for something like that. Every minute that passes does not come back – ever. So it would be wise for us to watch what we say and what we do because you can never take it back. Sadly, we live as if we can have many do-overs, little do we know that before we know it; we are running out of life. Continue reading
one + one = two
Equations; something we all learned in school and most of us wondered when will we ever use this nonsense in our day-to-day life. How will all the unnecessary information we learned in these books be ever helpful in our practical life. Well, I finally found something. I feel better now knowing all the nights of studying didn’t go in vain. Continue reading
Roller Coaster Thoughts
Ever felt your thoughts are riding on a roller coaster: up, down, sideways. Ever think you are driving yourself crazy with your thinking. Ever feel pain from thinking too much. Well, I have. I thought I might share with you my experience on the subject. Continue reading
When reality hits you
You know those times when you get too much a dose of reality; when things seem clearer yet hazier at the same time; when you don’t want to hear the truth anymore because it hurts so much; when you are in disbelief that this is what it comes down to. It is not even by the years you live, or by the experiences you have, or by the people you meet in your life. Yes, all those things are factors in the equation, however, it is by the defining moments in your life Continue reading
